The Merilyn Denis Show

Hey fashionable people,

So I have to confess that I have been obsessed with being an audience member at talk shows. As you all already know I am all about new experiences. I am trying new things, in particular things that I can do locally. Sometimes I find myself more willing to explore while on vacation but I have decided to appreciate the things in my own backyard.

The Marilyn Denis Show is a Canadian TV talk show with Canadian and international celebrities. Tapping of the Marilyn Denis Show happens in downtown Toronto. The show airs weekdays at 10:00AM on CTV.
I had an amazing time at the show. Bellow I will provide the link of how you can obtain free tickets to the show. Yes I said free! Fun and friendly staff, the show is very informative with a variety of topics that can be beneficial for our lives.

Marilyn Denis just celebrated her 1500 episode. It is amazing to see this show progressing and becoming even better season after season.
My goal is to be a guest at the show to discuss about fashion or perhaps compete on the Battle of the Blogger segment.

Now should we talk about my outfit?
Bright colours look good on TV. When attending a TV show usually the audience manager gives you  instructions regarding the dress code. Wearing colours is not mandatory but simply a suggestion so you can look very good on TV.
I love white so I started building my outfit around this dress shirt from H&M. The sweater is from Guess. I wanted a simple but fashion forward and modest look. I finished off my look with leather pants also from H&M and topped off with my favorite pumps at the moment from Lintervalle a Canadian shoe company.

This was my first time in Ottawa. Although I have been in Canada for over eleven years I have never visited the capital. This was an amazing weekend. The thing with short getaways is the limited time I have to see the city. I was able to see some touristic points and downtown Ottawa. Since I am a huge city girl I can’t miss what the center of the city has to offer.
The main purpose of my getaway was to go to the Embassy of Angola to take care of some documentation. As I mentioned on my “About” page I was born in Luanda, Angola. I needed to go to the embassy because my Angolan passport is expired. Having a dual citizenship I like to be on top of things and make sure my documentation is up to date.

Blush Pink

Blush pink was the highlight of the spring. Before the season ended even though I don’t wear a lot of pink I decided to get myself this pink dress. This dress can be worn to a wedding  since its wedding session, to a high end event, to dinner and so forth.

Now my favourite season has arrived. I am excited to share my summer adventures with you all. Stay tuned!
