Q & A – The Girl Behind Zani’s Styles

It has been an exciting first year running my fashion blog. I have learned a lot this year. While I was running this blog, I was asked a lot of different questions by my social media followers, and by my friends. This post is where I will answer the most asked questions.

  1. Where do you get your fashion inspiration?
♦ It all depends on how I feel. I don’t draw inspiration from just one person. Things going on in my life, in the world, the weather, etc all have an impact on how I feel about myself. How I feel about myself is what influences my fashion style.
  2. What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a fashion blog?
♦ First of all, I would say consistency is the key. This is something that I am still working on. Write all your ideas on a piece of paper. Everything you think of make sure to write it down. Have in mind the target or the focus of your blog. For example if your blog is about food make sure you stick to that. Another piece of advice would be to get a good camera that takes neat pictures. Be unique, don’t compare yourself to others. Be creative and don’t give up. Continue to make posts and keep working on improving yourself.
  3. What is your favorite clothing store?
At the moment if I had to pick one I would have to say GUESS. Most of the time when I go in there I end up buying something.

4. What is the most difficult thing about having a blog?
♦ Committing to a steady routine of taking pictures, blogging my fashion and taking advantage of good weather conditions, this includes; good lighting and a good background. Making the blog appropriate to all audiences. I always have many ideas for fashion and  it is hard to pin myself down to just one look. Making this blog easy for women to draw ideas from the looks posted is another thing that I have difficulty with, because my desire is for women to relate and afford the fashion I showcase in Zani’s Styles.

5. Give a few fashion tips for women.
♦Be Flexible. Be willing to try new styles and experiment more. Don’t limit yourself to one look.
Redefine what style means to you. Let your clothes be a reflection of your personality. If you have good style make sure you have a good personality to go with it.

Miami Getaway – A Taste Of Miami

I wanted to share some of the great restaurants that I really enjoyed when I was in Miami.

Brisa Bistro restaurant inside of the Hilton Hotel Downtown Miami where I stayed. The food is delicious, fresh and the staff are amazing.

Miami, FL,

il bolognese Restaurant

Miami beach is all about the outdoor experience. I couldn’t forget this amazing restaurant. Half Price on Happy Hour!

Miami, FL

This place has a young and cool vibe to it. Everyone that goes to BOCCE Bar is first of all amazed with the urban and modern decor. The restaurant is also perfect for a more intimate occasion such as a date night, anniversary celebration and so on.

Sugarcane Raw Bar and Grill

Right beside BOCCE, there is Sugarcane. The very few deserts featured on the menu are the best deserts I ever had. Great atmosphere!

Miami Getaway – Hilton Hotel Downtown Miami

First of all, I would like to thank the Hilton Hotel for being an essential part of my vacation. They really contributed for my amazing experience. The staff is friendly and informative. The staff are willing to help at all times. They made me feel at home. The food at the Hilton was very flavorful. I will definitely be going back. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the view from my room, just spectacular!

Miami Getaway – Fringed

Fringes are definitely in and they are not going anywhere! I have to admit when this trend was coming back in fashion, I held myself back from buying  a lot of items with fringes. Some trends are in and out of fashion very quickly. I like incorporating some old trends with some new ones in my wardrobe. I wear things that make me feel happy and confident about myself.  This day was very special because I went out for dinner with a friend from Brazil that I hadn’t seen in over four years. We decided to meet each other in Miami and it was awesome!
